Operating in a market where digital service aggregation is still emerging, 1Bena combines food delivery from a curated selection of local restaurants, online shopping for groceries and essential goods, and taxi-booking with real-time GPS tracking — all accessible through a single, user-friendly mobile interface. The platform positions itself as a first-of-its-kind offering in The Gambia, filling a significant gap in the local digital economy where most such services were previously unavailable or fragmented across different providers. With a fixed-fare model for rides, a diverse catalogue of products, and a commitment to customer satisfaction through responsive service, 1Bena aspires to become the default digital convenience platform for Gambians — one that eliminates the friction of urban daily life by making transport, food, and shopping seamlessly accessible from any smartphone.

Given that 1Bena operates across three distinct verticals — food delivery, shopping, and rides — the design and development work needed to accommodate a complex, multi-category user experience while remaining intuitive for a market where digital app adoption is still growing.
